Hydrogeological studies

Groundwater is an essential resource for meeting not only the demand for drinking water and the needs of economic activity, but also the requirements of ecosystems and the well-being of people in general.  Its preservation is therefore key, as much in quantity as in quality.

At Talantia we have the experience and resources necessary to offer a service tailored to the needs of the client, from the technical, administrative and regulatory points of view.

We specialise in the hydrogeological study of contaminated sites which is fundamental in supporting contaminated soil and groundwater studies.   These studies are essential both for the analysis of the existing situation and for future site development in order to decide upon and plan recovery and clean-up measures.

Traditional flow models can simulate the overall average performance of water movement in an aquifer but owing to phenomena associated with the transport of contaminants, there may be problems in being able to predict key factors such as the dimensions of dispersion plumes or their duration.
