Here at Talantia, we would like to share our knowledge and experience in order to resolve environmental problems, bring water supplies to wherever they are needed, or help disadvantaged people wherever they may be.
In 2017, we provided technical support to the local authority “Private Sector Rehabilitation and Agribusiness Development Project” in Guinea Bissau, funded by the World Bank (IBRD). Working with stakeholders, we assessed a huge project for exploitation of mineral resources, reviewing and proposing social and environmental solutions that would allow development of the project whilst preserving the social and environmental well-being of the local population.
In support of the archaeological excavation by the Atapuerca Foundation and the Palarq Foundation in Eritrea, we worked with the Eritrean-Spanish archaeological and paleontological team carrying out excavations in the Afar (Danakil Depression) area in 2017 and 2018. Talantia delivered simple, robust and lasting solutions for making water safe to drink in order to tackle infant mortality linked to water supply quality. Talantia is also working on hydrogeological studies to create new wells and guarantee a sustainable water supply for the people of the Afar Region.
